LESS THAN TWO WEEKS TO GO!
Please get your foursome, individual registration or sponsorship in today, so that we may know how many golf pros we’ll need and how much food to order.  We need lots more golfers, folks!
Again, we thank Dominion Towing for becoming a co-sponsor and the Springfield Hilton for signing on as the beverage cart sponsor.  Joining them is focusedimage as the sponsor of the contests, Shapiro, Lifschitz & Schram as the sponsor of two holes and Julius Hobson as the sponsor of one hole.  Many thanks also to generous donors Tom Schimmel, John Scarcella, Chuck Kahanov and Erik Hoffman.
Please consider spreading the word about this year’s event and helping recruit foursomes and sponsors.  The MS Society, along with many other charities, is having a very tough fundraising year.  Every dollar we can raise is doubly important.

You’ll have a fun morning of golf on a GREAT course, with continental breakfast before and Waterford’s Chef Mike Rogers’ delicious Chicken Picatta luncheon and fun awards afterwards.  Once again, we have invited a number of PGA teaching professionals to  play along with you and dispense FREE swing tipsright out on the course!  Your foursome is even allowed to count some of your pro’s shots as part of your score.  This has been a huge hit for our golfers; even the pros have a blast.

Very special thanks to the following pros:

Joshua Tremblay, Head PGA Pro, Springfield Golf & Country Club

Jonathon Schoenfeld, Head PGA Pro, Stonewall Golf Club

Brian Choi, PGA Teaching Pro, Oakmarr Golf Center

Ben Hogan, PGA Teaching Pro

Gene Orrico, PGA Director of Golf, and the entire staff at Laurel Hill for their generous assistance in setting up this event.

About Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system, interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with the disease.

About the National Multiple Sclerosis Society

MS stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn’t. The Society addresses the challenges of each person affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, collaborating with MS organizations around the world, and providing programs and services designed to help people with MS and their families move forward with their lives.

Please join us (and invite your friends!) for a great time benefitting a great cause.
